The Tata Nexon facelift is just a couple of weeks away from launch. We have already extensively reported on the exterior and interior design, new features and trim nomenclature, and even the powertrain line-up. Now, we have a detailed breakup of what features you can expect from each individual trim of the updated Nexon, so let’s take a closer look.

Tata Nexon facelift: expected features list

As we have already reported, the Nexon will adopt a new Punch-like trim nomenclature, and will have the following trims on offer: Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S) and Fearless+ (S) trims. Here, ‘+’ likely denotes optional packages that’ll come bundled with several features, while (S) refers to the trims that’ll come equipped with a single-pane sunroof. Tata Nexon facelift engine and gearbox options

The Nexon facelift will continue with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine gets four gearbox options – a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 6-speed manual, and an AMT. The diesel engine will only get 6-speed gearboxes. Tata Nexon facelift launch timeline, expected price

Tata will launch the Nexon facelift on September 14 alongside the EV. It will continue to rival the Mahindra XUV300Maruti Suzuki BrezzaMaruti Suzuki FronxHyundai VenueKia SonetRenault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. The Nexon facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 8 lakh-15 lakh (ex-showroom).
