Tata Motors offers the Harrier facelift with a whopping 25 variants sub-divided into four categories – which Tata calls ‘personas’. These variants are priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 25.04 lakh for the diesel-manual and Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 26.44 lakh for the diesel-automatic. While the Harrier’s variant mix is highly confusing, the focus of this article is to uncomplicate its colour options, since each ‘persona’ is available with only a select few options out of the seven shades in Tata’s palette.

    1. Four Personas on offer – Smart, Pure, Adventure, Fearless
    2. Each persona available in select few colour options
    3. Dark theme available with Pure, Adventure, Fearless

Tata Harrier facelift colour options detailed

The Tata Harrier gets four ‘personas’ for the manual  – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless; the automatic only gets the latter three. Each ‘persona’ further extends into two to four variants. Pure, Adventure and Fearless personas each also get a Dark theme variant featuring an Oberon Black body paint and all-black interiors.

The base Smart persona gets only two paint options – Lunar White and Ash Grey. This variant’s interior gets a black dashboard, and light grey and black upholstery.

Like Smart, Pure also gets Lunar White and Ash Grey paint options, as well as a black dashboard, and light grey and black upholstery. The Pure+ S variant gets the Dark theme at a premium of Rs 30,000 over the Pure+ S variant.

The Adventure persona is available with Seaweed Green, Pebble Grey, Lunar White and Coral Red paint options. Its interiors feature a brown and black colour scheme on the dash and door pads, coupled with black seat upholstery. The Dark theme on Adventure+ is available for an additional Rs 60,000 over its standard counterpart.

The priciest persona is the Fearless, which gets Sunlit Yellow, Pebble Grey, Lunar White and Coral Red paint options; dual-tone is standard featuring a black roof and blacked-out pillars. Fearless gets black interiors sporting matching body colour on the dash fascia, door handles and centre console grab handles. The Fearless Dark theme variant is available for a premium of Rs 55,000 over the standard Fearless, while the Fearless+ variant gets the Dark theme for an additional Rs 60,000.

Be warned - they give you the Fearless Plus edition white with the sunlit yellow dashboard colour - totally illogical!
