A test mule of the next-gen Hyundai Venue N Line was recently spied in India. Hyundai is set to launch the next-gen Venue here on October 24, and it appears that the sportier N Line variants could be part of the compact SUV’s line-up from day one, too. Like with the current model, the next-gen Venue N Line variants are expected to be priced at a premium over the standard trims.

  1. New-gen Hyundai Venue N Line to sport a dual exhaust setup
  2. Blind-spot ORVM warning lights, sequential indicators to be offered with the new Venue
  3. 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine will likely be the sole option

Dual exhausts are the most notable giveaway.

Though the new-gen Venue test mule was heavily camouflaged, the presence of a dual-exhaust setup is the strongest indicator of it being an N Line model; the existing Venue N Line gets dual exhaust tips, too. Sequential indicators and blind-spot warning lights on the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are also visible in the video, though these features will likely be available in the standard trims.

Other possible upgrades for the new-gen Venue N Line include a different design for the grille and alloy wheels, a firmer suspension setup, a sportier exhaust note, revised bumpers, red highlights and N Line badging on the bodywork, unique Thunder Blue and Shadow Grey colour options, and more. Inside, expect red stitching and accents, an N Line-specific 3-spoke steering wheel and an all-black colour scheme.

120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine expected to be on offer.

Since the next-gen Venue will carry forward the current model’s powertrains, its N Line variants will likely be available with only a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine developing 120hp and 172Nm. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
