    New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga feature list revealed

    Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the new-gen Ertiga on November 21, 2018. Meanwhile, dealers have started accepting bookings for the MPV for an amount of Rs 11,000. The new Ertiga will be powered by Maruti’s tried-and-tested 1.3-litre diesel engine which puts out 90hp and 200Nm and a new 1.5-litre petrol engine borrowed from the Ciaz which is good for 105hp and 138Nm of torque. Both engines will come with mild-hybrid technology and will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, with a 4-speed torque converter automatic offered on the petrol versions. The MPV will be available in 10 variants for buyers to choose from.

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga LXi, LDi

    • Power windows with driver’s side auto down function
    • Tilt adjust steering wheel
    • 15-inch steel rims

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga VXi, VXi AT, VDi

    • ESP (AT only)
    • Hill hold function (AT only)
    • Four speaker audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity
    • Steering-mounted audio and telephony controls
    • Wheel caps for the 15-inch steel wheels
    • Turn indicators in the wing mirrors
    • Body coloured door handles and outside rear view mirrors
    • Second row centre arm rest
    • Rear AC vents
    • Remote keyless entry
    • 12V charging port in the first and second row
    • Day/night inside rear view mirror
    • Electronically adjustable and folding wing mirrors

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXi, ZXi AT, ZDi

    • 15-inch alloy wheels
    • Height adjustable driver’s seat
    • Front centre arm rest with storage space
    • Push button start/stop
    • Automatic climate control
    • Rear defogger, wash and wiper
    • 12V charging port in all three rows (two in the front)
    • Two tweeters

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXi+, ZDi+

    • SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation
    • Rear parking camera
    • Leather wrapped steering wheel 

    Unlike recently launched top-spec variants of the maruti Suzuki Swift, Iginis and Dzire, the new Ertiga’s top-spec trim does not get LED headlamps, LED DRLs and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Prices for the new Ertiga will be revealed at the launch on November 21, 2018. The MPV will be sold from Maruti’s Arena showrooms and not from the premium Nexa outlets. When launched, the Ertiga will take on the Mahindra Marazzo and the Renault Lodgy in our market.
