MG Motor India joins the long list of carmakers currently offering tempting year-end discounts. The Chinese-owned British brand has revealed its December 2023 discount list that has offers for the entire MG car and SUV line-up, including the Comet EV hatchback and the ZS EV SUV.

MG Comet EV: up to Rs 65,000 off

The MG Comet EV comes with a 17.3kWh battery that's IP67-rated for water and dust resistance and gets an ARAI-certified range of 230km. MG is also offering a 3.3kW onboard charger for the city EV that takes 7 hours to fully charge the battery. The top-spec Comet gets two 10.25-inch screens – one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. The front passenger seat has a one-touch tumble and fold feature, while the rear seats get a 50:50 split. Safety features on the Comet EV include ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), reverse camera and sensors as well as dual front airbags.

MG's electric urban runabout is available with year-end discounts of up to Rs 65,000, depending on the variant.

MG Hector: up to Rs 1 lakh

The Hector SUV, MG’s bread-and-butter product, was updated earlier this year with a second facelift and more features. The SUV comes with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel, which also sees duty in the Harrier, Safari and the Jeep Compass.

Discounts in the range of Rs 50,000 are available on the Hector at the moment. MG is also offering Rs 50,000 as exchange benefits on the Hector SUV, taking the total to Rs 1 lakh.

MG Gloster, Astor and ZS EV: up to Rs 1.5 lakh

MG Motor India is offering a flat Rs 1 lakh discount on three of its SUVs – the Fortuner-rivalling Gloster, the Astor, which takes on the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, and the ZS EV.  All three SUVs get Rs 50,000 as exchange benefits as well.
