Dear Team, I am quite perplexed and would greatly appreciate your assistance. I currently drive a 2023 Hyundai Creta Turbo top-end model and am looking to upgrade to a superior vehicle, with a budget of under Rs 30 lakh. My driving is evenly split between highways and city roads. Usually, there are two adults and one teenager in the car for 99% of my drives. I also admit that I do not have a strong parking sense, which makes me apprehensive about driving larger vehicles. I require a fully automatic car. Once a year, I travel with my family of four adults, one teenager, and a dog, along with substantial luggage to hilly destinations such as Shimla, Mussoorie, and Manali. My Creta has never struggled with the overall load, and I have never faced any issues with its performance or ability to handle steep climbs, even with the air conditioning on and the car fully loaded. The most economical option appears to be the top-end Alcazar, as it is currently available with a discount. However, I am considering the XUV700 top-end AX7L, as I believe it might offer more power and luxury. I am also anticipating the launch of the new MG Hector, which I expect to be more luxurious and fuel-efficient. Could you please advise me on which car would be most suitable for my requirements? If I opt for the top-end Alcazar Turbo Diesel, will it be capable of handling steep climbs with a full load, or should I consider the XUV700 with its 2.0-litre engine? Go for the Mahindra XUV 7XO diesel. The Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ is a very solid, reliable, and comfortable MPV, but it is a very basic variant with very few features and a fairly plain cabin. The 7XO AX7, on the other hand, is a much more modern and feature-rich SUV with a far more premium cabin, a stronger diesel engine, and a more engaging driving experience. This Mahindra car also offers a better balance between family comfort and long-distance touring capability. This Toyota car is still the better choice if your absolute priority is long-term reliability, mileage, and Toyota's ownership experience, but at this price point, the 7XO AX7 simply feels like a much more complete and satisfying package.

I need an automatic SUV that can handle light snow and slushy conditions. I am confused between the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L 4WD and Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 T AWD. The vehicle will be used 90% on highways, with the remaining 10% involving trips to hilly areas in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and similar regions. It will not be used in extreme off-road conditions.

I’m looking for a car in the Rs 22-24 lakh budget. My daily usage is around 30km, with about 75 percent of the driving in the city. My priorities are safety, driving comfort, mileage and an automatic gearbox. I was initially looking for a 5-seater and liked the Harrier Petrol Automatic, but I am now also considering a 7-seater. Should I choose between the Harrier, Safari and XUV 7XO, and would petrol or diesel be more suitable for my usage? I’m also open to other suggestions that fit these requirements.

The Tata Safari is essentially a 7 seater version of the Harrier, so the same comments apply. The 7XO diesel automatic is the best fit for your priorities of safety, driving comfort, mileage and automatic transmission.
