The MG brand entered our market around two months back with the launch of the Hector SUV. According to MG, the Hector garnered over 28,000 bookings since it was launched and as a testament to its popularity, the carmaker even had to temporarily close bookings for the SUV late last month. The Hector’s USPs include its large proportions, spacious cabin and new-age technology; all of which add up to make it a desirable package.

Mechanically, the MG Hector comes equipped with a 143hp, 1.5-litre petrol and a 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine. There is also a 48V mild-hybrid option available with the petrol engine that is about 12 percent more efficient than the petrol-only variant. In terms of gearbox options, MG offers a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT automatic gearbox with the petrol engine, while the petrol-hybrid and diesel just get the former.

Although the Hector is quite well-equipped as standard, especially in top-spec form, MG allows customers to further customise the SUV with a large number of official accessories. We have compiled a list of all the accessories available as well as their prices, below.
