2025 Maruti Grand Vitara CNG features

Adds ventilated seats, wireless charger on Zeta

With the 2025 update for the Grand Vitara, a few top-end features became more accessible as Maruti Suzuki offered them on the lower trims. The same applies for the CNG variants as well.

The higher-spec Grand Vitara CNG Zeta variant now comes equipped with ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, an air purifier with PM2.5 filter and a tyre pressure monitoring system; six airbags have also been made standard on both CNG trims.

Other notable features on the Zeta trim include a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC, a Clarion sound system, a rearview camera, keyless entry and go, connected car features and 17-inch alloys.

2025 Maruti Grand Vitara CNG powertrain, specs

Produces 89hp and 121.5Nm in CNG-spec

Under the hood, the Grand Vitara CNG continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine, which produces 89hp and 121.5Nm in CNG spec. It is offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and Maruti claims an efficiency of 26.6km/kg. In petrol spec, this engine produces 103hp and 137Nm.

Do note, the Grand Vitara continues to use a single, large CNG tank that compromises boot space, unlike smaller CNG models from Tata and Hyundai that have adopted a more convenient dual-CNG tank setup.
