The Scorpio Classic S5 will be offered with three seating configurations – a 7-seater with bench, a 7-seater with captain’s chairs and a 9-seater with bench. The other variants currently get a choice of only two from the three options, depending on the variant. However, as per our sources, that is likely to change as the Classic S11 will now get a 9-seat configuration as well.

The Classic S5 will get the same Gen 2 mHawk, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 132hp and 300Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and sends power to the rear wheels. The Scorpio Classic does not offer an automatic gearbox or 4x4 option that was available on the previous-gen model.
