Mahindra will officially unveil the “World of SUVs” premium-showroom setup on Friday June 28, 2019. This initiative is actually a showroom-in-showroom concept that – unlike Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa outlet chain – will feature a separate enclosure for Mahindra’s premium models inside some Mahindra showrooms. We reported about this development back in August, last year.
As part of the World of SUV’s initiative, Mahindra’s existing outlets are being upgraded to incorporate a special “Prime” zone. The designated zone will most likely display the Alturas G4 flagship SUV, the Marazzo MPV, the XUV300 compact SUV, the XUV500 and the KUV100 NXT.
Apart from sporting a different colour scheme and decor, the Mahindra World of SUV’s zone is expected to include a lounge area, as well as a virtual reality zone where customers can view how their models would look in a certain colour, or when it's specified with certain accessories.
As far as Mahindra’s India line-up goes, the company has recently launched the limited edition Thar 700 that marks the end of production of the first-gen Thar SUV. Additionally, Mahindra also has plans to introduce the XUV300 AMT in the coming weeks.
