Lexus India has added a new entry-level Exquisite trim to the RX line-up, dropping the hybrid luxury SUV’s base price to Rs 89.99 lakh. The Lexus RX 350h Exquisite is Rs 8.05 lakh more affordable than the Luxury trim, which is now priced at Rs 98.04 lakh (hiked by Rs 1.91 lakh). Moreover, the price of the top-spec RX 500h F-Sport+ has been reduced by Rs 9 lakh.

Lexus RX Exquisite features
Virtually no change in features list compared to Luxury trim
In terms of features, the RX Exquisite variant is almost identical to the outgoing Luxury trim. Highlights include a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, a Lexus-branded sound system (21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system available for Rs 2.03 lakh extra), 10-way powered front seats with memory functions, electrically reclinable rear seats, heating and ventilation for front and rear seats, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, connected car tech, and more.

2.5-litre petrol-hybrid setup makes a combined 246hp
Available in the 350h guise only, the RX Exquisite gets a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol-hybrid powertrain that’s mated to an eCVT automatic. The combined output is pegged at 246hp, which is funnelled to the front wheels only and helps the RX 350h go from a standstill to 100kph in 7.9 seconds. Thanks to the strong hybrid system, the RX 350h also delivers a WLTP-certified fuel-efficiency figure of 18.6kpl (average).
