Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Vibe edition: What’s new?

The Vibe edition introduces cosmetic changes and feature additions to the standard Sportz trims. These include a black interior with red inserts, black-painted alloy wheels and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

A key addition is a dashcam, which Hyundai claims is a first in the segment. The system offers multiple recording modes, such as driving, emergency and event recording, vacation mode, and even on-demand video and photo capture, with footage accessible via a mobile app.

Features carried over from the Sportz trims include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, projector headlamps, a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and six airbags. The Sportz (O) Vibe variant additionally gets a smart key with push-button start, which was earlier offered from the Asta trim.

The Vibe edition continues with the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which produces 83hp and 114Nm, and is offered with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

Asta variant updated, new colour introduced

Hyundai has also added a dashcam to the Asta variant of the Grand i10 Nios and introduced a new Titan Grey Matte colour, which it claims is the only matte finish available in the segment.

The Grand i10 Nios rivals the Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago in the hatchback segment.
