Festive season benefits of up to Rs 52,000 on Maruti Suzuki Nexa and Arena models

The festive season is upon us and to take advantage of the positive buying sentiment among consumers, carmakers have started rolling out heavy discounts across their model range. Maruti Suzuki, the largest carmaker in India, has announced discounts and benefits up to Rs 52,000 across its Nexa and Arena model line-up. Depending on the model, buyers can avail cash discounts, corporate discounts or exchange bonuses and even a special Navratri bookings offer. Let’s take a closer look.

    Maruti Suzuki Nexa discounts

    Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Benefits of up to Rs 36,200

Even though the current-gen Baleno is nearly six years old, it continues to outsell much newer and modern rivals. Its success can be attributed to its excellent value proposition, fuel-efficient petrol engines, spacious interiors and decent levels of equipment.

The Baleno is available with a choice of 1.2-litre petrol and mild-hybrid petrol engines, both mated to a manual gearbox as standard. A CVT automatic gearbox is also available with the non-hybrid engine. The Baleno has maximum benefits of up to Rs 36,200 which includes cash discounts, corporate discounts and exchange bonuses.

    Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Benefits of up to Rs 52,490

Even though sedans are losing their popularity, the Ciaz still remains a competent offering in the midsize sedan segment, thanks to its spacious and comfortable cabin, low ownership costs and fuel-efficient mild-hybrid petrol engine. It is solely available with a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Benefits on the Ciaz extend up to Rs 52,490, including heavy cash discounts and exchange and corporate bonuses of Rs 10,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively.

    Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

Benefits of up to Rs 45,000

The S-Cross may only be a crossover, but it’s got a tough job of competing against midsize SUVs, all of which it undercuts with its aggressive pricing. The biggest strength of the S-Cross is its fantastic ride and handling balance combined with its frugal 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine. In fact, the S-Cross shares its engine and gearbox options with the Ciaz. The S-Cross rivals the likes of Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and entry-level variants of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Benefits on the S-Cross extend up to Rs 45,000 that includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and additional exchange bonus and corporate discounts.

Available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a manual or AMT gearbox, the Ignis is the only model from Nexa that’s not available with the smart hybrid technology. Maruti is offering benefits of up to Rs 43,000 on the Alto, which includes a cash discount, exchange bonus and corporate discount. The CNG variants, meanwhile, do not get any cash discount, but are available with corporate and exchange bonuses.

    Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

Benefits of up to Rs 48,000

Maruti’s high-riding budget hatchback – the S-Presso – may not be to everyone’s taste in terms of styling, but its appeal lies in its peppy and frugal 68hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine, spacious and feature-packed interior and affordability. The S-Presso is available with benefits of up to Rs 48,000, but like the Alto, the CNG variants of the S-Presso also do not get any cash discount.
