With its neutral ergonomics, plush suspension and torquey air/oil-cooled engine, the X440 T will serve your use case well. If you want something with a bit more performance and more commanding ergonomics, then the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is what you should consider. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will easily be the most comfortable for two-up riding of the bikes you've shortlisted, but its heavy kerb weight could be hard to manage, especially with a pillion onboard in stacatto big-city traffic. We'd recommend you steer clear of the Super Meteor 650 because its laidback riding position and stiff rear shocks will cause you discomfort over bad roads. For city use, we'd recommend picking between the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350RS. Both seat the rider comfortably, although the CB350RS has a slightly sportier seating position. But also have a comfortable suspension, which is what you'll value in the city. If ridden sensibly, the two 350s will also return decent fuel economy. Do bear in mind that the Classic 350 is likely to be updated with a slip/assist clutch soon. if you are looking to buy this bike, we'd advise you to defer your purchase by a few months.Since you're already looking at the Classic, its sibling, the Hunter 350, also makes for a great city bike. Despite its relatively smaller size, larger riders will fit just fine on the Hunter, and this is the most city-friendly machine of all the bikes you are looking at. The Harley-Davidson X440 is also a good option inside the city with its torquey engine, neutral ergonomics and decent suspension. The Harley-Davidson X440 that you are considering will be a good upgrade from your Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 for highway cruising. Do bear in mind that while it will have significantly lower vibrations at 100-120kph, there will still be some vibrations to contend with because this is, after all, a long-stroke, small-capacity, single-cylinder engine. However, they are definitely manageable and shouldn't be a problem. Something else you should also look at, since you are getting into long-distance riding, is the Royal Enfield Scram 440. The Scram has better suspension comfort, more upright ergonomics and is more spacious, which means after mounting luggage you won't feel hemmed into place on the seat. It has a similiar engine to the H-D X440 and can comfortably cruise at 100-110kph, but above that, some vibrations are to be felt. That is par for the course in this category, and almost no single-cylinder bike will be butter smooth at these speeds. If you want an option that's more affordable than these two, the Honda CB350 trio warrants consideration. They will have lower performance than the two 400cc+ bikes we mentioned earlier. But it will be capable of sustaining 100-110kph on the highway while being quite smooth owing to their tall gearing, which actually works in its favour here. We would recommend a thorough test ride of these bikes before you make a decision.

The Harley-Davidson X440 will be a good starting point for a novice rider, although you will take some time to get used to its weight. Since you are shopping in this class of bike, other options to consider are Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Honda CB350 trio and the TVS Ronin. Of these, the Ronin will be the lightest and one of the most affordable options while still delivering comparable performance to the 350s. The Yamaha Aerox 155 is a good scooter in many ways, but its stiff rear suspension and cramped ergonomics for taller riders are two big reasons we would steer you away from it. If you do want a large-capacity scooter, then the TVS Ntorq 150 is our current pick because it has engaging performance but doesn't sacrifice comfort or practicality. The more powerful Harley is also slightly more eager in the corners and has a more engaging riding position, too. It will also be less fuel-efficient in city traffic owing to its larger engine. The relaxed Royal Enfield has a more laid-back riding position and will also feel like a slightly bigger bike.
