A test mule of the upcoming 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift has been spotted sans any camouflage on Indian roads. Tata partially unveiled the Punch EV facelift last week, showing only its front-end design. These new spy shots now show us the rest of the styling tweaks for the Punch EV facelift.

  2. Likely to be sold with the same 25kWh and 35kWh battery options
  3. Punch EV facelift price expected to be slightly higher than the existing model’s

Up front, the Punch EV facelift sports a redesigned bumper that ditches the black trim and air intakes bridging the main headlight units in the current model, resulting in a cleaner look. Lower down, the air dam and skid plate have also been revised. Elsewhere, the Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) and central charging flap remain unchanged.

Nothing looks to have changed on the side profile of the 2026 Punch EV facelift, but there may be fresh designs for the aero-optimised alloy wheels in certain variants. The test mule pictured here is finished in the Fearless Red dual-tone (black roof) colour that’s available for the outgoing Punch EV. However, Tata has confirmed the addition of brown and bright yellow colour options for the Punch EV facelift.

At the rear, the Punch EV facelift borrows the LED light bar from the ICE-powered Punch facelift that launched in January. Even the rear bumper design of the Punch EV facelift is identical to that of its ICE counterpart.

The Punch EV facelift will continue to offer the same 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs, hooked up with a front-mounted electric motor. The ARAI-rated Punch EV range  is 265km for the 25kWh battery and 365km for the 35kWh unit; the Punch EV facelift may have slightly different claimed range figures.
