Ahead of its launch, Tata has revealed the exterior of the Punch EV facelift. The front end gets a revised design and a closed-off look for the grille. This time around, however, it omits the black trim piece connecting the headlights and the connected LED DRLs. Lower down, the scuff plate has also received a slight redesign.

The aero-optimised alloy wheels get an updated design, inspired by those on the bigger Nexon EV. Additionally, a new colour will be available on the Punch EV facelift, which looks similar to the 'Sunlit Yellow' paint seen on the Harrier SUV with a black roof.
Tata Punch EV facelift: What to expect?

As mentioned earlier, the facelift has brought in subtle design revisions to the exterior. Tata has not revealed the rear end, but expect it to get connected LED tail-lamps like its ICE-powered counterpart. Changes on the inside are likely to be minimal, with minor design revisions. A larger 12.3-inch infotainment system running newer software, as seen on the Nexon EV, could likely make its way to the Punch EV.
Meanwhile, the equipment list will retain features like a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, 360-degree cameras, auto-dimming IRVM, connected car tech, and ambient lighting. A Level 2 ADAS suite could likely be a part of the Punch EV facelift's safety kit.
The powertrain options on the Punch EV are likely to be unchanged. It is expected to continue with 25kWh and 35kWh battery pack options with ARAI-claimed ranges of 265km and 365km, respectively. The motor on the 25kWh unit produces 82hp and 114Nm of torque while the 35kWh battery pack's motor delivers 122hp and 190Nm of torque. Expect the facelift to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
