Top 10 bestselling cars in October 2025
Tata Nexon led October 2025 sales with 22,083 units, making it the top-selling car in India.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire followed with 20,791 units, continuing its dominance in the compact sedan segment.
The Maruti Ertiga was close behind the Dzire with 20,087 units, maintaining its lead in the MPV segment.
The Maruti Wagon R registered 18,970 unit sales.
The popular Hyundai Creta ranked fifth with 18,381 units (including the electric variants).
Mahindra Scorpio N and Classic sold 17,880 units (combined).
Followed by the Maruti Baleno with 16,873 unit sales.
The Maruti Fronx recorded 17,003 units.
Tata Punch was very close behind the fronx, registering 16,810 units.
The Maruti Swift rounded off the top ten list with 15,542 units sold in October 2025.

The Tata Nexon (including EV models) once again claimed the top spot as the best-selling car in October 2025. The festive month saw close competition for second place, ultimately won by the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, with the Ertiga close behind in third. Segment favorites Wagon R and Hyundai Creta (including EV models) rounded out the top five. Maruti Suzuki continued its dominance across the rest of the list, with strong performances from the Fronx, Baleno, and Swift. The Mahindra Scorpio (including both Classic and Scorpio N) and Tata Punch also secured spots in the top ten.
