It is being offered in five trims: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+, among which the mid-spec N-Connecta is offered with all the available powertrain options. At its price point, the Renault Duster’s mid-spec Techno variant is also available with the same powertrains. So, should you choose the Tekton’s N-Connecta over the Duster’s Techno? We find out.

All the variants of the Nissan Tekton N-Connecta are slightly more expensive than the Duster’s Iconic variants. The smaller engine variant is Rs 20,000 more expensive on the Tekton, while the larger engine is Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 more expensive on the Nissan midsize SUV. Although the Duster’s Techno trim gets smaller alloys and a smaller driver’s display, it offers a powered tailgate, which would be more useful in the real world. This additional feature and the fact that it is offered at a lower price make the Duster’s mid-spec Techno a more recommendable trim than the Tekton’s N-Connecta.

Prices are ex-showroom, India.
