Mercedes-Benz S-Class FAQs
The S-Class is designed primarily with rear-seat comfort in mind. However, its refined plug-in hybrid powertrain and rear-wheel steering ensure it remains rewarding to drive when required.
For buyers who prioritise rear-seat comfort and ride quality, the S-Class remains difficult to match. Luxury SUVs may offer greater practicality and a higher seating position, but few can replicate the comfort and refinement of a flagship luxury sedan.
Ride comfort is one of the S-Class' strongest attributes. Its adaptive air suspension and E-Active Body Control system help isolate occupants from road imperfections, making it exceptionally comfortable for long journeys.
Yes. The S-Class excels at covering long distances thanks to its comfortable seating, low noise levels, smooth power delivery and advanced ride-control systems. It is among the most accomplished luxury tourers available in India.
Both cars take different approaches. The S-Class focuses on comfort, refinement and a traditional luxury experience, while the BMW 7 Series places greater emphasis on technology and rear-seat entertainment. Buyers prioritising comfort often gravitate towards the S-Class.
Yes. The S-Class is equipped with features such as the MBUX Superscreen, augmented reality navigation, rear entertainment screens, connected-car technology and a wide range of driver assistance systems. It remains one of the most technologically advanced sedans in its segment.
