Questions you may find useful
Hi, I am a first time buyer and live in Mumbai. I am confused whether I should buy Maruti Suzuki Fronx Amt or Maruti Suzuki Brezza Turbo. My usage is daily office commute which is approximately 40km and one trip in 2-3 months. Please suggest if any other option in automatic or manual are available.
With a daily commute of around 40km in Mumbai traffic and only occasional highway trips, an automatic would be much better to have. Between the two, the Fronx would thus be the one to go for as the Brezza Turbo comes with a manual only. The Fronx AMT also keeps costs down while still giving you the convenience of an automatic, though the shifts will not be as smooth as a torque convertor (TC) automatic which is what the Fronx Turbo comes with. Thus if your traffic conditions are constant start stop, you would be better off with the TC auto. Besides the two options you could also consider the Brezza with the 1.5 litre engine as this comes with a TC auto and being naturally aspirated makes for a straightforward drive experience in the city.
I am confused between Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta plus and Maruti suzuki victoris LXi Cng and my running is around 200-300 month and want to go with good fuel efficiney. suggest for which model i can go
Hi Team, Please help me choose the right car. I am planning to buy a car with a budget of around Rs. 11-12.5 lakh (on-road price in Delhi NCR). I need an automatic car, and my monthly running will be approximately 600 km, mainly in city traffic, especially on the Delhi-Gurgaon peak traffic stretch. I prefer to keep my cars for a longer period and will be upgrading from a Hyundai i20 manual. Based on my requirements, please suggest the best option among the following: Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXi AT - Rs. 11.9 lakh on-road Kia Sonet DCT HTK(O) - Rs. 11.2 lakh Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta Plus AMT - Rs. 9.6 lakh Skoda Kylaq Signature Automatic - Rs. 11.2 lakh I am unable to decide which one would be the most suitable choice for my needs. Kindly suggest the best option.
Go for the Skoda Kylaq Signature Automatic. It is the best fit for your usage and is available under Rs. 12 lakh, which fits your budget. Your running is low, so petrol is the right choice, and the Kylaq’s 1.0 TSI engine paired with the 6-speed torque converter automatic is a proven and reliable combination that works well in Delhi-Gurgaon traffic. This Skoda car is also one of the most fun-to-drive cars in this price range, with strong performance and good highway manners. Skoda Kylaq price starts at Rs 7.59 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXI AT is a solid alternative if you want a more relaxed ownership experience and Maruti’s service reach, but the Kylaq is the more engaging car to drive. The Kia Sonet DCT is not the right choice for your usage because the DCT gearbox is not ideal for heavy stop-and-go traffic. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Delta Plus AMT is the most affordable option, but the AMT gearbox is not as smooth as the Kylaq’s torque converter, and the car itself does not feel like a meaningful upgrade from your Hyundai car.The Kylaq strikes the best balance between driving experience, reliability and value for money.
I drive a maximum of 500 km per month, mostly on weekends. I am looking for an SUV with a budget of around ₹11 lakh. This is my first car purchase, so please suggest any suitable options. I have shortlisted the Hyundai Venue HX5+, but I am not sure if it is the right choice. Sometimes, I also consider the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and the Honda Amaze CVT.
With 500 km of monthly running and mostly weekend driving, the Hyundai Venue HX5+ is a solid SUV choice. The 1.2-litre engine is very refined and fairly responsive for city use. On the highway, it will cruise comfortably, but it can feel a bit breathless when pushed. If you usually carry only one or two passengers, this shouldn't be an issue. However, if you frequently travel with a full load, you may feel the need for more performance. The Hyundai Venue price is between Rs 8.00 lakh and Rs 15.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For a similar price, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a better bet as you get a turbo-petrol manual, which offers better performance when required. The cabin is also wider, making it more comfortable for three passengers at the rear; however, it doesn't feel as modern inside as the Venue.Consider the Honda Amaze if you want the convenience of an automatic transmission, but otherwise, the Venue is the better choice.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx FAQs
The Delta+ variant with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a manual transmission is recommended, as it offers a decently loaded feature suite and a fuel-efficient engine. It offers amenities like a 7-inch infotainment system, all-LED lighting, rear parking sensors, and alloy wheels.
Customers wanting the Fronx but on a budget should go for the lower-spec Delta variant with a petrol-manual combination. It offers features such as a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic AC, 4 speakers, halogen headlights and steel wheels with covers.
