Kia Carnival

The Kia Carnival price in India starts at Rs 59.42 lakh ex-showroom. The Kia Carnival does not have any competition as such but is a luxury MPV alternative to the Toyota Innova Hycross, Maruti Suzuki Invicto, and Mahindra XUV700. The MPV also competes with higher-end alternatives like the Toyota Vellfire and MG M9.

Kia offers the Carnival car in one fully loaded variant only available with a diesel engine. The diesel engine is a 2.2-litre turbo diesel unit producing 190hp and 441Nm of torque paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Kia claims a 0-100kph time of 11.1 seconds. The Kia Carnival mileage is claimed at 14.85 km/l. The Carnival comes with a 2+2+3 configuration, making it a 7-seater. Moreover, the second row comes Ottoman seats which are powered, ventilated, and heated captain seats with leg support.

The Kia Carnival interior features premium leather upholstery, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, ambient lighting, ventilated and heated powered front seats (12-way driver, 8-way passenger), a dual sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, heads-up display, etc. Practicality is massive, as the Kia Carnival boot space is 540 litres with all rows up and goes up to 1600+ litres with the third row folded.

Kia Carnival Highlights

The Kia Carnival safety rating has not been officially revealed in India yet, but it did get a 5-star rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).

The MPV gets eight airbags, ESC, rear parking sensors, front and rear disc brakes, TPMS, traction control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, etc.

At 180 mm, the Carnival's ground clearance is adequate to deal with Indian road conditions.

The Kia Carnival boot space is 540 litres, and is expandable to 1600+ litres.

In terms of dimensions, the Carnival measures 5,155 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, 1,775 mm in height, and 3,090 mm in wheelbase.
