The Skoda Peaq is the manufacturer’s flagship EV in its international lineup. It is the production-spec model of the Vision 7S concept, and is being claimed as the largest Skoda offering to date. It measures 4,874mm in length, 1,867mm in width and 1,664mm in height, and has a 2,965mm wheelbase. The Skoda Peaq rivals the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Volvo EX90.
It is currently available in the UK market, with prices starting from GBP 51,980 (around Rs 65 lakh before taxes and duties). Skoda is evaluating the Peaq’s India launch. It could come to India as a CBU import rivalling the Kia EV9 eSUV.
The Skoda Peaq is offered with two battery pack options: 63kWh and 91kWh. The 63kWh battery version is available only with a 204hp rear-axle-mounted (RWD) motor. The 91kWh battery is available with either a 286hp RWD motor or a 299hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive AWD option. The 61kWh battery has a WLTP-claimed range of 459km, while the 91kWh battery has a range of up to 647km.
