Initially only referred to as the 'production-spec version' of the Vision 7S concept, Skoda has now revealed some key specs and features of the Peaq electric SUV. Planned to sit at the top of the Czech brand’s pure-electric portfolio, which currently consists of the Elroq and Enyaq, the upcoming Skoda Peaq is scheduled to make its global debut sometime later this year. That said, here’s what we know so far about the new Skoda Peaq.
- Will sit atop the Modular Electrification Toolkit platform
- There will be three variants and two battery sizes
- Will get a 13.6-inch touchscreen, massaging seats and an electrochromic panoramic sunroof
Skoda Peaq dimensions
This new electric flagship will also be the brand’s largest model yet
The new Peaq will stretch 4,874mm in overall length, measure 1,664mm at its highest point and span 2,965mm between the front and rear wheels – making it Skoda’s largest model yet. For reference, the Skoda Enyaq’s wheelbase is almost 200mm shorter, at 2,766mm, while that of the Kodiaq sits at 2,791mm.

Skoda claims that the Peaq EV will offer “the largest boot of any Skoda production model” in its 5-seater avatar, with a cargo capacity of up to 1,010 litres. This figure drops to 299 litres for the 7-seater version, though a 37-litre frunk (front trunk) is available on both versions. One of the ‘Simply Clever’ features here will be the integration of a QR code, scanning which would lead to an explainer video on how to use the Peaq’s boot to its full potential.
Skoda Peaq technical details
There will be three variants and two different battery packs
The upcoming Skoda Peaq will be powered by a lithium-ion (NMC) battery pack consisting of 63kWh and 91kWh versions. The smaller of these two has a claimed maximum range of over 460km and will only be offered with the entry-level rear-wheel-drive variant, whilst the larger pack is rated at over 600km and will be available with the mid-spec rear-wheel-drive and top-spec all-wheel-drive variants of the Skoda Peaq.

The base-spec 60 and mid-spec 90 variants come with a single electric motor capable of generating up to 286hp. However, the Peaq 90x’s dual-motor configuration has a claimed output of up to 299hp. With a 0-100kph figure of 6.7 seconds, this is also the fastest accelerating variant of the Skoda Peaq. While Skoda hasn’t disclosed the actual speed of the Peaq’s DC fast charging, all variants have a claimed 10-80 percent charge time of less than 30 minutes.
Skoda Peaq features
The Peaq is set to offer buyers plenty of modern features
This being a Skoda, the upcoming Peaq EV will come with several ‘Simply Clever’ features. Among others, these will include a ticket holder, a foldable table and, a cleaning cloth for the touchscreen and front windscreen wipers with integrated washers. Skoda’s flagship EV will also get an Android-based infotainment system with a portrait-oriented 13.6-inch touchscreen and a 10-inch digital driver’s display.

The Peaq will also offer wireless charging, an augmented‑reality head‑up display and an electrochromic panoramic sunroof with adjustable opacity. Adding to the comfort will be an optional Relax Package, which will bring massaging seats with electrically adjustable foot-rests, along with simultaneous adjustments for the car’s climate control system and ambient lighting. This package also includes pillows and a foldable table, plus a wellness app with several modes that include relaxation, stretching and re-energising.
Skoda Peaq design
The Peaq uses Skoda’s Modern Solid design language

Even though these near-production examples of the Skoda Peaq are shrouded in camouflage, we know that the chiselled front fascia features a gloss-black panel with LED illumination and LED Matrix headlights. Other notable exterior elements include the aero-optimised alloy wheels that range in size from 19- to 21-inches, a relatively flat beltline, a prominent rear spoiler and up to 10 exterior colour options. The interior of the Peaq will utilise recycled and sustainable materials, though leather upholstery will also be offered later on. Depending on the trim level, there will either be a two-spoke steering wheel or a three-spoke design.

While Skoda hasn’t provided an exact launch date for the Peaq SUV, a global reveal is scheduled for sometime in mid-2026. However, a month after the January 2025 Auto Expo, we learned that this new electric SUV will indeed be coming to India in 2027.
