Hyundai Alcazar price in Mahoba
In Mahoba, the base model Executive 1.5 Petrol MT 7 seat costs 16.54 lakh on-road, while the top model Signature Lounge Edition 1.5 Diesel AT 5 seat goes up to 25.19 lakh. The Platinum 1.5 Petrol MT 7 seat falls between them at 21.68 lakh.
If you choose to finance the car, a loan of 14,90,000 for the base Executive 1.5 Petrol MT 7 seat works out to an EMI of 23,973 per month. For the top Signature Lounge Edition 1.5 Diesel AT 5 seat, the EMI rises to 36,522 on a loan of 22,70,000.
Why prices change from the base model to the top model:
- The base model Executive 1.5 Petrol MT 7 seat uses the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with a 6-speed manual, while the top model Signature Lounge Edition 1.5 Diesel AT 5 seat pairs the 1.5-litre diesel with the 6-speed automatic.
- The diesel costs more than the petrol in the same trim, and the automatic gearboxes (7-speed DCT on the petrol, 6-speed automatic on the diesel) cost more than the manual.
- The 10.25-inch touchscreen, Bluelink and panoramic sunroof arrive with the Prestige, so they sit above the entry-level Executive.
- The Platinum adds 18-inch alloys, Bose audio, a powered driver's seat, the 360-degree view and ADAS.
- The Signature adds ventilated seats, a digital key and stop-and-go cruise control, and it is the only trim with the 6-seat captain-seat layout.
- The Lounge Edition adds a 5-seat cabin with a rear-seat entertainment screen at the top of the range.
The amount can vary by state, with registration charges, road tax and insurance added to the ex-showroom price. As a result, the on-road price of the same variant can differ from one city to another.

Questions you may find useful
I’m planning to buy a seven-seater and don’t have a particular preference between an MPV and an SUV. I’ve been looking at the Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari petrol as options. I’d appreciate your advice on these cars.
We would recommend the Kia Carens Clavis instead of your mentioned choices. Assuming the third row will be used frequently, the Clavis features better space and comfort compared to the Alcazar and Safari. The Clavis also has a better ride than both, and with three rows up, it has decent space behind the backrests for soft luggage. You also get a choice of powertrains between EV, petrol and diesel. Performance of the Clavis is strong even with three rows full, and being a Kia, the equipment and features on offer are very good. If you can stretch your budget, the Mahindra XUV 7XO is also a very strong choice. Gets a roomy cabin with a better third row than the Alcazar and Safari, and superb ride quality and engine performance. Both the petrol and diesel engines are powerful and refined, and it makes for a strong package.
Hi Autocar Team, I am planning to buy a seven-seater and am confused between the Toyota Innova Hycross and Hyundai Alcazar. I like almost everything about the Alcazar, but my only concern is the long-term durability of its DCT. As for the Hycross, my budget only allows me to consider the GX variant, which lacks many features. Kindly advise me on which one I should choose. My driving style is simple and non-aggressive. I drive around 8-10 km daily in the NCR region, with occasional family highway trips of up to 500 km. My average monthly running is around 1,200 km.
Go for the Toyota Innova Hycross GX since your usage pattern is simple, with a family focus and the occasional 500km highway trip. The Hycross is the better long-term ownership proposition. It is more spacious, more comfortable and more reliable. The Alcazar is a good car, but the third row is tight, and the DCT is not the ideal gearbox for your usage. The Hycross GX may not have many features, but it gets the fundamentals right. It is a proper seven-seater with a comfortable third row, a smooth petrol engine and Toyota's reputation for reliability. For your usage, that matters more than features. The Alcazar is more feature-rich, but it is ultimately a smaller car with a less comfortable third row.
I am planning to buy a new SUV under Rs 30 lakh and am open to both five- and seven-seater options. I have tried the Toyota Innova HyCross non-hybrid, Mahindra XUV 7XO, Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Seltos and Renault Duster, but I am confused about which one to choose. My main priorities are space, comfort and a good engine. My running is not very high, at just under 1,000km a month. Please advise.
Go for the Toyota Innova HyCross non-hybrid. Your priorities are space, comfort and a good engine, and the HyCross delivers on all three. It is one of the most spacious cars in the segment, with a genuinely usable third row and a comfortable ride that makes it an excellent family car. The petrol engine is smooth, refined and well suited to your running of under 1,000 km a month, where the hybrid premium is harder to justify. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is a strong alternative with a more powerful engine and a more feature-rich cabin, but the HyCross has the edge on space, comfort and long-term ownership experience. The Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Seltos are good cars, but they do not offer the same level of space or comfort, and the Renault Duster is more of a driver's car than a family car. The Toyota car mentioned above is the car you will be happiest with after five years of ownership.
I read that Hyundai launched lounge edition for creta and alcazar. Just wanted to know, whether this is just an cosmetic upgrade or something has changed functionally too?
I am planning to buy an Alcazar manual but am confused about whether to choose petrol or diesel. My usage will be in the city, and I will drive on the highway mostly on weekends. Please suggest whether I should go with petrol or diesel.
Go for the Hyundai Alcazar diesel manual. Your usage pattern of city driving with regular weekend highway runs is exactly where a diesel makes sense. The Alcazar diesel is a refined and efficient engine, and it delivers strong torque at low revs, which makes overtaking on highways effortless and reduces the need for frequent gear changes in the city. The Alcazar petrol, on the other hand, is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine, which is smooth and refined but lacks the low-end punch of the diesel, especially when the car is fully loaded. The diesel will also deliver significantly better fuel efficiency on both city and highway runs, which will add up over time. The only reason to choose the petrol would be if your usage was almost exclusively city driving and if your monthly usage is around 1,000 km or less with very low annual running. Given your mix of city and highway usage, diesel is the better choice.
