Hyundai has launched a new Lounge Edition for the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar SUVs. This new edition is based on the top-spec trims of the respective SUVs and adds a new 11.6-inch entertainment screen for the rear passengers, along with a new Golden Bronze exterior hue, an all-black cabin with silver inserts and slightly revised seat upholstery. Interestingly, the Lounge Edition also debuts a 5-seater layout on the Hyundai Alcazar, which has been available in a 6- or 7-seat layout till now.

Command a premium of up to Rs 90,000 on the variants they are based on
*5-seater Alcazar Lounge Edition is Rs 90,000 more expensive than the corresponding Signature 7-seater and Rs 71,000 more expensive than the Signature 6-seater variant.
The Creta Lounge Edition, available with the King trim’s 1.5-litre petrol-CVT and 1.5-litre diesel-AT variants, has a premium of Rs 53,000. The Alcazar Lounge Edition, based on the top-spec Signature 1.5-litre diesel-AT variant, is up to Rs 90,000 more expensive than the standard model, which comes in 6- or 7-seat configurations. The Creta Electric Lounge Edition is Rs 67,000 more expensive than the Excellence LR (51.4kWh version).

Offers a rear entertainment screen, white ambient lighting and a dashcam
On the features front, the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar Lounge Editions get a new 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment screen which supports OTT content streaming, phone mirroring and gaming. The system has a wide range of applications via a dedicated app store. Other than this, the Lounge Edition gets white ambient lighting. Other features are identical to the trims they are based on.
Gets a new exterior colour and some blacked-out elements
The Lounge Edition introduces a new Golden Bronze exterior colour theme to the three SUVs; however, they are available with all other colour options as well. The alloy wheels have been blacked out, but the sizes remain the same – 18-inch on the Creta and Alcazar and 17-inch on the Creta Electric. The front and rear skid plates, outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), roof-mounted spoiler, roof rails, and C-pillar garnish have also received an all-black treatment.
Sports an all-black cabin with silver accents and revised seat upholstery
Inside, the Lounge Editions of the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar sport an all-black dashboard with silver-coloured inserts on the AC vents. The seat upholstery is also fresh, which Hyundai calls ‘Lounge seat design pattern’, and the headrest cushions are offered with ‘Lounge’ embossing.
As mentioned earlier, the Alcazar Lounge Edition introduces a 5-seater layout to the SUV.
The Hyundai Creta rivals midsize SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder, Renault Duster, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The Creta Electric competes with the Maruti e Vitara, Tata Sierra EV, Mahindra BE 6 and Vinfast VF6. The Alcazar locks horns with the MG Hector, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV 7XO.
