Trending Questions on Honda Cars - Answered by Autocar Experts
Hello, I'm a Honda fanboy and looking to buy a new vehicle in 2026. Inclined towards a subcompact SUV. Will Honda launch the WRV? I have checked the Elevate and really liked it. But the automatic variant is above my budget. My regular usage will be on the highway, going to my hometown and back. Plus, once or twice a month 200 km one-sided and basic city runs on the weekends.
My budget is โน10-11 lakh, and this will be my first car. My monthly driving will be less than 200km. Please suggest a suitable option.
- Hatchback: Maruti Suzuki Swift
- Compact sedan: Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire
- Compact SUV/Crossover: Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Exter
I need a car for my family under 15 lakhs. My height is 6 ft, so smaller cars are uncomfortable for me. I would like to go for a safe & reliable car. My running is under 500km monthly, with 80% city and 20% highway. I'm okay with a pre-owned car/SUV as well. Thanks!
I'm looking to buy my first car. Although I have good experience in driving cars, this will be my first own car. We are a family of 4 + 1 kid living in Kolkata and have a relocatable job (mostly in tier 1/2 cities). I'm looking for a long-term car (5+ years). Monthly, I need to drive ~500kms and 3/4 long drives in a year. Preferably automatic, as monthly 500kms are inside the city. Had evaluated Kylaq, Elevate, 3X0 and Brezza. Now with the Sierra and MG Hector 2026 models, I'm completely lost. Suggest
I want to buy my first car within a budget of โน15 lakh. Iโm considering the Honda Elevate CVT based on reliability. How is it, and is there any better option that is good in all aspects?
Yes, the Honda Elevate CVT will be a reliable option, and the SUV also delivers a good driving experience with a well-sorted ride and handling balance and a spacious interior. However, refinement is not good, and the engine does sound very strained when pushed a bit for performance.
You could thus also consider the Hyundai Creta iVT (CVT), which is a very good all-rounder, spacious and comfy and very refined to drive. Its engine and gearbox combination is working very well to deliver good performance and refinement.
Hi, I am currently driving a 2021 VW Taigun 1.0 MT with annual running of ~10,000 KM (60% City, 40% Highway). The car is running fine, but it becomes a pain in heavy city traffic due to constant gear shifting & turbo lag. I am confused between 3 options: (1) Get the cheapest possible city automatic like an S-presso AGS and use it with Taigun, (2) Get a proper AT like Amaze/i20 CVT or Brezza AT and upgrade Taigun after a few years, or (3) Sell Taigun and upgrade to a proper AT SUV. Please suggest.
I am having a Honda City ZX 2006 model in very good condition, which has been driven 82000 kms. But nowadays, servicing costs are increasing due to ageing spare parts. Confused whether to retain the car or buy a new sedan, which comes with more features. Meanwhile, I don't want to spend much on a car because it is a depreciating asset. Please suggest a budget-friendly car with good mileage and safety features.
I am looking for a reliable car under โน16 lakh (on-road) for long-term use (10 to 12 years). My monthly running is 2000 km, primarily on highways. Which car should I go for?
I am a loyal Honda customer and have driven an Accord in the Gulf and currently own a Honda City in India. I would now like to replace my car with an automatic. I am considering the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and the Honda City e-HEV. Please advise.
I have a budget of โน10-12 lakh and have shortlisted two cars: the Tata Nexon Creative S+ AMT and the Honda Amaze ZX CVT. My monthly driving will not exceed 500 km. Since this will be my first car, I am a bit confused about which one to choose.
The Honda Amaze will offer a better ownership experience for you. Firstly, it's a CVT, which is smoother and much more responsive than the AMT in the Tata Nexon.
Itโs lighter and more agile than the Nexon too, which as a first-time owner makes it easier to drive and manouver especially in the city. Being a Honda car, you can expect it to be more reliable and easier to maintain. Itโs efficient and fairly spacious too, and for your budget, the Amaze is the right choice.
