Maruti Suzuki is offering benefits and discounts of up to Rs 36,000 on its Arena line-up of cars this month. Buyers can avail cash discounts, corporate benefits and exchange offers on models such as the Alto, S-Presso, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Wagon R and the Vitara Brezza. Read on for more details.

    • Maruti Alto, S-Presso have the highest discount for February 2022
    • Newly launched Maruti Celerio has the least discount
    • Maruti Ertiga, however, gets no discount for February

    Maruti Suzuki Alto

    Save up to Rs 36,000

The Maruti Suzuki Alto has been in the market for about 20 years, but it continues to be one of the prime volume makers for the brand in India. Offered with a sole 796cc engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Alto comes in both petrol and CNG guises. The appeal for the Alto lies in its low cost of ownership and affordable price tag. Buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 36,000 on the Alto, although there are no offers on the CNG variants.

    Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

    Save up to Rs 36,000

The S-Presso is also available with benefits of up to Rs 36,000, including cash discount, corporate offers and exchange bonuses. Just like the Alto, there are no offers on the CNG variants of the S-Presso either. While the high-riding S-Presso’s styling may not be to everyone’s taste, the hatchback’s strength lies in its decently equipped cabin, and of course, its frugal and peppy 68hp, 1.0-litre engine. It’s available with both manual and AMT gearboxes.

    Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

    Save up to Rs 31,000

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is available with two petrol engines – 1.0-litre K10 and 1.2-litre K12 – and both are available with manual and AMT gearboxes. The 1.2-litre variants of the Wagon R are available with benefits of up to Rs 31,000, while the 1.0-litre variants are available with benefits of up to Rs 26,000. There are no offers on the 1.0-litre CNG versions. The popular tallboy hatchback in generous in terms of space, has city friendly dynamics and a decent features list.

    Maruti Suzuki Swift

    Save up to Rs 27,000

Currently in its third generation, the Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine and is offered with both 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. The Swift may not be as well-equipped as its rival, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and its pricing is also a little steep, but it remains a hugely popular hatchback, thanks to its smooth and frugal engine. It’s also sufficiently comfortable on the inside and has a well sorted ride and handling balance. Benefits on the Swift extend up to Rs 27,000, although the base LXi trim has benefits of up to Rs 17,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Dzire

    Save up to Rs 27,000

The sedan sibling of the Swift, the Dzire is also available with the same 90hp, 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine and 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. While the compact sedan segment hasn’t seen much action of late, the Dzire continues to be one of Maruti’s strong selling models. Like the Swift, the Dzire has a comfortable and spacious cabin, smooth and efficient petrol engine and a fine ride and handling balance. The Dzire can be had with maximum benefits of up to Rs 27,000 this month.

    Maruti Suzuki Eeco

    Save up to Rs 24,000

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is available with a 73hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Both 5- and 7-seater versions of the Eeco, as well as the cargo van variant, are available with maximum benefits of up to Rs 24,000. While there’s also a CNG variant, there’s no offer on that. The Maruti Eeco surely is basic and rather utilitarian, but it is also the most affordable way to move seven people and is reasonably spacious and economical to run.

    Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

    Save up to Rs 22,000

As Maruti Suzuki gears up for the launch of the all-new Brezza in the coming months, the current model has been listed with benefits of up to Rs 22,000 this month. The Brezza is available with a sole 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine with manual and AMT gearboxes. The current model, however, now shows its age in the face of newer competition and is nowhere as well equipped as some of its rivals. It is, however, spacious on the inside, has a good ride and handling balance, and comes with a smooth and efficient petrol engine.

    Maruti Suzuki Celerio

    Save up to Rs 16,000

Even the newly launched Celerio has been listed with benefits of up to Rs 16,000 for February. Available with a 67hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine and with manual and AMT gearbox options, the new Celerio is an easy to drive hatchback with a spacious and decently equipped cabin. It also has the bragging rights for being the most fuel-efficient petrol car in the country. Top-spec variants of the Celerio, however, are quite pricey.
