Tata Motors has discontinued the 45kWh battery option for the Curvv EV, and introduced three new trims under the 55kWh-SeriesX range: Rs 16.99 lakh-Accomplished X, Rs 19.19 lakh-Empowered X and Rs 19.49 lakh-Empowered X Dark Edition; all other 55kWh variants have been dropped as well. The SeriesX also introduces a new Nitro Crimson exterior shade choice, and the carmaker is offering a lifetime warranty (15 years from the first date of vehicle registration) with the battery pack.

The new 55kWh Accomplished X is the most affordable variant in the line-up, costing Rs 50,000 less than the previous 45kWh trim (Creative).

Curvv EV Accomplished X

The Accomplished X focuses on comfort and key tech features. It gets a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch displays for the driver and touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot view monitor, front ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery and rear sunshades.

Curvv EV Empowered X

The Empowered X is the more feature-rich version, and over the Accomplished X 55, it adds a 6-way powered driver’s seat and two-step reclining rear seats. It also gets a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 9-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer. Safety also gets a boost, with Level 2 ADAS offering 20 functions. Other features include 18-inch aero-optimised wheels and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V)/ vehicle-to-load (V2L) support.

Tata Curvv EV motor and battery specs

The 55kWh Curvv EV gets a 167hp, 215Nm electric motor. As per MIDC, it returns a range of 502km. With a 7.2kW AC charger, 10-100 percent top-up takes 7.6 hours, while a DC fast charger does a 10-80 percent charge in 40 minutes.
