To make the 55kWh, 502km Curvv EV lineup more affordable, Tata Motors has introduced the new SeriesX range. It includes the Accomplished X and Empowered X variants, priced at Rs 16.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata has also added the Curvv Empowered X Dark Edition, priced at Rs 19.49 lakh. The SeriesX also gets a new Nitro Crimson exterior shade.

Before this, the 55kWh Curvv EV lineup started at Rs 19.25 lakh with the Accomplished variant. Tata is also offering lifetime warranty (15 years from the first date of vehicle registration) with the 55kWh battery pack.

The new 55kWh Accomplished X trim is the most affordable in the lineup, costing Rs 50,000 less than the 45kWh Creative variant.

Curvv EV Accomplished X

The Accomplished X focuses on comfort and key tech features. It gets a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch displays for the driver and touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot view monitor. Inside, it also gets India’s first front ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery and rear sunshades.

Curvv EV Empowered X

The Empowered X is the more feature-rich version, and over the Accomplished X 55, it adds a 6-way powered driver's seat and two-step reclining rear seats. It also gets a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 9-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer. Safety gets a boost too, with Level 2 ADAS offering 20 functions. Other features include 18-inch aero-optimised wheels and V2V/V2L support.

Tata Curvv EV motor and battery specs

The Curvv EV's 55kWh lineup gets a 167hp electric motor, while the 430km-45kWh models make a peak 150hp output; both generate the same 215Nm torque. With a 7.2kW AC charger, the 55kWh unit can be charged from 10-100 percent in 7.6 hours, while the 55kWh battery takes 7.25 hours for the same. Using a DC fast charger, a 10-80 percent charge can be done in 40 minutes.
