Ahead of the second-generation Kia Seltos’s global debut on December 10, new spy images have fully uncovered its interior. The upcoming model gets a completely redesigned cabin, replete with a new dual-screen setup, a new steering wheel and some new switchgear that we have seen on the Syros. Let’s take a closer look at the latest details of the second-gen Kia Seltos interior.
- New Seltos to feature a larger twin-screen setup
- Panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, 360-degree camera also expected
- Second-gen Seltos could also get a new hybrid powertrain
New Kia Seltos interior spied
The second-generation Seltos’s interior seems similar to that of the other new-age Kias. It continues with a twin, connected-screen setup, but these will likely be the new 12.3-inch units we have seen on the Syros; the current car has 10.25-inch screens. The switchgear on the centre console and just below the connected display also seems to be shared with the Syros, and if the fit, finish and quality on the latter are anything to go by, then expect the new Seltos to be right up there in terms of the premium quotient.

Other observable details include tasteful use of ambient lighting on the dashboard and door pads, slim AC vents nicely tucked away within the layered dashboard and an all-new three-spoke steering wheel with an offset Kia logo and plenty of hard buttons. Unlike the recently launched Tata Sierra and the Mahindra XEV 9S, which use a triple-screen setup, Kia has not gone overboard with screens and has retained plenty of physical switchgear. It also gets a stubby new gear level, cup holders with a retractable cover on the centre console and an aluminium finish for the pedals.
In terms of equipment, the new Seltos is expected to get a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated and powered front seats, electric boss mode (borrowed from the Creta Electric) and a premium audio system. Safety features could include 6 airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a tyre-pressure monitoring system and Level 2 ADAS.
New Kia Seltos exterior design
Teaser images revealed so far have hinted at an all-new design in line with Kia’s larger SUVs, such as the new Telluride. It will have a bolder interpretation of Kia’s Tiger Nose grille, connected LED tail-lamps at the rear and a much sharper design language overall. It is also expected to have significantly grown in size, so larger wheels are likely too.

New Kia Seltos powertrain options
The second-gen Seltos is expected to get new powertrain options, including a new naturally aspirated petrol-hybrid engine. Although technical details of the hybrid engine are not yet available, sources indicate that the next-generation Seltos will feature an electrified version of the current 1.5-litre 4-cylinder NA petrol engine. The second-generation Seltos will also carry over the current model’s 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116hp 1.5-litre diesel engine options.
The new-generation Kia Seltos is expected to have a slight premium over the current model, whose ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 19.81 lakh. It will continue to rival mass-market SUVs, including the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and Honda Elevate. It is expected to launch in India in early 2026.
