The latest-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire has achieved a 5-star rating in crash tests carried out by Bharat NCAP (New Car Safety Assessment Program). As the first sedan to undergo Bharat NCAP testing, the Dzire pulled off an impressive performance, scoring 29.46 out of 32 points (5 stars) in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 41.57 out of 49 points (5 stars) in child occupant protection (COP). Notably, the Dzire also scored 5 stars in AOP during Global NCAP testing last year, but its COP rating stood at 4 stars, despite GNCAP and BNCAP following the same parameters.

  1. The Maruti Dzire received 29.46 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection
  2. Child occupant protection was rated 41.57 out of 49 for the Dzire
  3. 5 star rating extends to all Dzire trim levels

This list is consistent among all Dzire trim levels, so the 5-star rating extends to the full variant line-up.
