Mahindra has just announced an extension of the Shield warranty program by 2 years on the Bolero Power+ and Scorpio SUVs. This now takes the warranty on both SUVs up to 7 years.

Mahindra Bolero Power+ and Scorpio: extended warranty plans explained
Mahindra currently offers a standard warranty of five years on both the Bolero Power+ and Scorpio SUVs, covering all unforeseen mechanical and electrical breakdowns. The extension now takes the total warranty up to seven years with the Bolero Power+ now being covered up to 1,50,000km, while the Scorpio will receive coverage up to 1,70,000km.
Mahindra's Shield warranty program ensures faster coverage approval and claims settlement. The warranty program will cover any mechanical or electrical failures including (but not limited to) engine parts, transmission system, cooling system, steering system, fuel system, suspension and electrical systems.
The warranty program also allows for flexible transfer of ownership, thereby ensuring higher resale value. Customers also have the convenience of opting in for a one-time payment or easy EMIs. Both the Scorpio and Bolero are high selling models for Mahindra and this is sure to please many customers.
