Hyundai Venue price, variants explained

Hyundai Venue fuel economy compared with rivals

A leaked brochure has revealed key details about the Hyundai Venue’s interior and exterior colour options, a day before the model officially goes on sale. The image gives us our first look at the Hyundai Venue in each of its 10 exterior paint finishes, which includes seven single-tone options and three dual-tone schemes. All Hyundai Venue variants will be available in Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Stardust (grey), Denim Blue and Lava Orange colours, the last of which is new to Hyundai. Mono-tone paint schemes will be matched by a cabin finished in all-black.

Higher-spec versions of the Venue will be available with dual-tone paint schemes. Venues in Denim Blue with a Polar White roof, and also ones in Polar White with a Phantom Black roof, will come with a ‘Denim Dual Tone’ interior theme that appears to be a beige-on-black one. Making its debut on the Venue is a new dark green shade that Hyundai has dubbed ‘Deep Forest’. Deep Forest and the dual-tone Lava Orange with Phantom Black Roof versions will get a distinct interior treatment. Termed ‘Khaki Dual Tone’, the interior colour theme is predominantly dark green with sporty orange piping on the seats.

What’s not clear as yet is which colour options will be offered on which particular version. As reported, the Venue will be available with three engine options and five trims. In all, there will be 13 versions of the Hyundai Venue on sale.

The Hyundai Venue goes on sale on May 21, 2019, and is expected to be priced between Rs 8-12 lakh (estimated, ex-showroom).
