The new Hyundai Venue will officially launch in India on May 21, 2019 and will be priced in the Rs 8-12 lakh range (ex-showroom). As we had mentioned earlier, the Venue will be offered with both, petrol and diesel powertrains; specifically two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol engines will be a 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, four-cylinder motor making 83hp and 115Nm of torque, along with a new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged motor that puts out 120hp and 172Nm of torque. While the 1.2-litre motor will get a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0-litre engine will get a dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed manual option. The 1.4-litre diesel, on the other hand, will make 90hp and 220Nm of torque and will come only with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Venue will also be the first Hyundai in India to offer the ‘Blue Link’ connected car feature, which includes an in-built Vodafone SIM-card for data and connectivity services. The Venue gets features like remote start-stop, remote climate control and remote door lock/unlock, along with a find my car function. The Venue also gets live car tracking, geo-fencing and speed alerts that can all be checked via an app that connects to the SUV.
