Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition: What’s new?

On the outside of the Shadow Edition, the most prominent change are the 18-inch forged alloy wheels finished in matte bronze with black centre caps. The only other change to the exterior is the presence of bronze decals on the lower sides of the doors. The i20 N Shadow Edition is limited to only two colour options, while the standard model offers five paint choices. The overall design remains largely unchanged, with sporty bumpers, a prominent wing, N badges, red underlines for the bumpers and side skirts, and an oval exhaust.

The i20 N Shadow Edition’s cabin gets a few upgrades over the standard version. You get an Alcantara finish for the steering wheel and gear lever, while a plaque below the central air vents showcases the unit number of the vehicle. Additionally, there are rubber floor mats that have a Pirelli P Zero tread pattern, which are essentially the tyres utilised by the i20 N.
The i20 N Shadow edition gets the same 204hp, 275Nm,1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine as the standard i20 N. It can do a 0-100kph sprint in 6.7 seconds and gets a top speed of 230kph. Power is sent to the front wheels only via a 6-speed manual transmission.
Although the outgoing generation's i20 N model is bowing out, Hyundai has revealed the 4th-generation i20 for the Brazilian market. It is yet to be seen if this generation gets an N model.
