Discounts up to Rs 70,000 on Maruti Suzuki cars, SUVs, MPVs

Maruti Suzuki’s Arena chain of dealerships is offering benefits of up to Rs 70,000 on select models. The Arena dealerships currently retail the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift, the Dzire, the Alto siblings, the Ertiga, the Wagon R, the Vitara Brezza and the Celerio. Here is a list of discounts you can avail this month.

    Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (Old)

    Benefits up to Rs 70,000
Last year, Maruti launched the all-new, second-gen Ertiga in India as a more upmarket and spacious replacement to the model that was on sale then. However, it would seem that dealers across the country still have stocks of the first-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Prospective customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 70,000 on the first-gen diesel Maruti Ertiga, while the petrol model can be had with discounts of up to Rs 35,000 only. The CNG model, on the other hand, will save you up to Rs 15,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

Benefit up to Rs 60,000 (Previous generation)/ Rs 20,000 (New)
The Wagon R has been a popular city runabout, and Maruti launched the new generation of the hatchback in January this year. It is the first version of the hatchback to get the brand’s 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine alongside the 1.0-litre unit. The new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is available with benefits of up to Rs 20,000 across all models.

However, if you go for the previous-generation model, dealers are offering benefits of up to a substantial Rs 60,000 depending on the variant. This, however, is subject to the availability of stock.

    Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    Benefits up to Rs 50,000
Maruti’s entry-level hatchback, the Alto 800 is a popular choice among first-time car owners thanks to its compact size and the badge it wears. Powered by a 48hp, 796cc, three-cylinder petrol engine, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 50,000. The CNG variant is available with discounts of up to Rs 40,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

    Benefits up to Rs 50,000
The more powerful sibling of the Alto 800, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is offered with the brand’s 68hp 1.0-litre, three-cylinder K10 engine running on petrol or CNG depending on the variant selected. As with its smaller sibling, the K10 is also available with benefits of up to Rs 50,000 for the petrol-manual model. The petrol-AMT and CNG variants can be had with discounts of up to Rs 45,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively.

    Maruti Suzuki Celerio

    Benefits up to Rs 50,000
Maruti’s rival to the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro, the Celerio uses the same motor as the Alto K10 – the 68hp, 1.0-litre K10 unit – paired with the choice of a manual or AMT gearbox. The hatchback also has a version that comes with a factory-fitted CNG kit, and a crossover-inspired model called the Celerio X. Customers can avail discounts of up to Rs 50,000 for the standard Maruti Suzuki Celerio, while the Celerio X is offered with discounts of up to Rs 45,000. Maruti recently updated both the Celerio and Celerio X with standard ABS, rear parking sensors and a speed alert system to adhere to the new safety norms.

    Maruti Suzuki Dzire

    Benefits up to Rs 45,000
In its three generations, the Dzire has managed to carve out a name for itself in the compact sedan segment by consistently outselling its rivals month after month. Powered by Maruti’s tried-and-tested 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines, both versions of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire can be had with benefits of up to Rs 45,000

    Maruti Suzuki Swift

    Benefits up to Rs 40,000

The third-gen Swift picks up where its predecessor left off and is a strong seller for the company despite the presence of the more premium Baleno hatchback. Offered with the same set of engines as the Dzire, the third-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift is the first to get the option of AMT on both the petrol and diesel models. Dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 40,000 for the diesel hatchback, while the petrol model gets benefits of up to Rs 35,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

    Benefits up to Rs 35,000

Since its launch in 2016, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has gone on to dominate the compact SUV segment, beating the Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. Available solely with a 1.3-litre diesel engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox, the Vitara Brezza is offered with benefits of up to Rs 35,000 across all trim levels.

    Maruti Suzuki Eeco

    Benefits up to Rs 15,000

Maruti’s people mover may not be the youngest model in the company’s line-up but it remains a popular model, especially among fleet and taxi operators. Maruti recently updated the van to meet the new safety regulations, by fitting it with standard features like a driver's airbag, ABS, rear parking sensors and a speed alert system. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 15,000 for the Maruti Suzuki Eeco.
