Discounts of over Rs 1 lakh on 2022 Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus

    Volkswagen dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 1.41 lakh on the Taigun SUV and up to Rs 1.03 lakh on the Virtus sedan. These offers are applicable on the 2022 and 2023 model years of the cars, as well as on the BS6 Phase 2-compliant models.

    Sources tell us that more discounts can be availed while finalising the purchase, and since the offers may vary from dealer to dealer, it is advisable to check with your respective dealer.

    Volkswagen Taigun discounts

    On the 2022 model year Taigun, discounts ranging from Rs 65,000 to Rs 1.41 lakh are available, depending on the variant selected. The highest discount is available on the Taigun Topline manual variant, while the Taigun Comfortline manual variant gets the lowest. 

    Meanwhile, the 2023 model year Taigun is available with discounts of up to Rs 91,000, with the highest discount available on Taigun Topline automatic variant. Similarly, for the 2023 model year Taigun, which now complies with the BS6 Phase 2 norms, a maximum discount of up to Rs 40,000 is up for grabs. 

    Volkswagen Virtus discounts

    Like the Taigun, the highest discount available on Virtus amounts to Rs 1.03 lakh, which is available on the Virtus Highline manual variant for the 2022 model year. The discounts on this 2022 Virtus start from Rs 20,000 – for the Virtus GT Plus automatic variant. 

    Coming to the 2023 model year Virtus, the discounts range between Rs 20,000-65,000, depending on the variant. On models that comply with the new Real Driving Emissions (RDE) norms, the discounts range between Rs 20,000-40,000, depending on the variant. 

    Upcoming Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus models

    Volkswagen has introduced new trims, colours and special editions for the Taigun and Virtus. The midsize SUV will soon get the 1.5 TSI manual powertrain in the top-spec GT Plus trim and the 1.5 TSI DSG in the lesser GT trim. Volkswagen will also soon offer the 1.5 TSI manual in the top-spec GT Plus trim of the Virtus. These are expected to launch in June.
