The Land Rover Defender 110 has received a new Trophy Edition that harks back to its classic Camel Trophy cars. It gets a bunch of new off-road accessories and two exclusive paint shades for an expedition-ready look. With this launch, the brand has also introduced the Defender Trophy challenge – an international offroad competition – that is inspired by the Camel Trophy and Challenge events of the past.

What’s most distinctive about the new Trophy Edition are its heritage-inspired Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green exterior paint shades. Land Rover says the former is a colour that is “synonymous with Defenders used on international Trophy-style events”, while the latter “celebrates rural exploration in Defender’s UK homeland”.
It also comes with a contrasting black finish for the bonnet, roof, front and rear scuff plates, wheel arches and side body cladding, along with Trophy decals on the bonnet and C-pillar. There are new gloss-black 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres and a bunch of optional off-road accessories, including a heavy-duty roof rack, a black deployable side ladder, side panniers for additional storage and a snorkel, too, finished in black. Customers can also avail themselves of an optional matte protective film with both colours of the Defender 110 Trophy.
On the inside, the Defender 110 Trophy gets illuminated sill plates with Trophy branding and new Ebony Windsor leather seat upholstery. The exposed crossbeam on the Defender’s dashboard is also finished in the exterior paint shade and features laser-etched endcaps with Trophy branding.
The Defender 110 Trophy Edition is in a similar vein to the limited-run Defender Works V8 Trophy, which Land Rover Classic had introduced in 2021. The brand, however, hasn’t clarified if this new version is a limited-run model.

The Defender Trophy is a global off-road competition inviting entries from more than 50 countries, and local selections will begin soon. Then, the national finals in early 2026 will determine who makes it to the global final hosted in Africa late next year. Winners will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an epic off-road adventure across Africa, testing driving and physical skills, as well as ingenuity.
To be eligible, entrants must reside in a participating country, be over 23 years old, be able to swim 50m, be eligible to drive and travel internationally and speak fluent English.
More details of the final’s unique format will be revealed at a later stage, and the competition will also be streamed online internationally.
For reference, the original Camel Trophy took place annually from 1980 to 1998, where teams raced factory-supplied, modified Land Rover models across some of the harshest terrain in the world, stopping to take part in special tasks including timed rally stages, winching trials and orienteering.
