BYD launches Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition at Rs 49.4 lakh

The only update to the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition is a new interior colour scheme dubbed ‘Tahiti Blue’, which brings a lighter and airier ambience than the standard black-and-grey theme. Nothing has changed elsewhere, so you still get goodies like automatic LED headlights and tail-lamps, up to 20-inch alloy wheels, a powered tailgate, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, Level 2 ADAS, powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, 11 airbags, and more.

Alongside this special edition, BYD has rolled out a new First Anniversary Offer for the first 1,100 Sealion 7 customers and bookings placed until April 30, 2026. This offer includes perks like a complimentary 11kW home charger with installation, free service and maintenance for 2 years and an 8-year/1,50,000km warranty for the low-voltage LFP battery; standard warranty for the same is 6 years/1,50,000km.

The low-voltage LFP battery runs the Sealion 7’s auxiliary electronics and is separate from the main 82.56kWh high-voltage LFP unit that powers the drivetrain. BYD offers a standard 8-year/1,60,000km warranty for the main battery pack.
