BS6 Tata Harrier diesel-automatic price, variants explained

Tata launched the BS6-compliant version of its Harrier flagship SUV last month, with prices for the manual versions starting at Rs 13.69 lakh. The SUV now gets a more powerful, 170hp version of the FCA-sourced 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, along with more equipment.

Apart from a bump up in power and features, the SUV also gained a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option with this update. The Tata Harrier diesel-automatic range starts from Rs 16.25 lakh and is available in three variants – XMA, XZA and XZA+. The XZA and XZA+ variants can also be had in a dual-tone paint scheme and with the ‘Dark’ package, which gives the Harrier an all-black interior theme, black exterior paint and black alloy wheels.
