Benefits up to Rs 48,000 on Maruti Suzuki S-Presso in June 2020

    • S-Presso gets Rs 20,000 flat discount

    • Additional Rs 20,000 offered as exchange bonus

    • S-Presso range starts at Rs 3.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Vehicle sales are resuming pan-India after a long pause and if there’s one segment likely to see the quickest recovery, it’s that for budget cars. Analysts expect the COVID-19 pandemic will result in more people wanting their own car and this change in mindset will drive sales of affordable cars.

Should things pan out as expected, Maruti Suzuki, which has multiple offerings in the segment, could have the most to gain. For its part, the carmaker is doubling down with offers to entice buyers.

The new S-Presso hatchback is one of the models on which you can save big. While the S-Presso has a list price ranging from Rs 3.7-4.99 (ex-showroom, Delhi), buyers can get benefits up to Rs 48,000 in June 2020. This includes a Rs 20,000 flat discount, a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs 8,000 worth of additional benefits, according to dealer sources. The S-Presso comes powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine and is available with manual and AMT gearboxes. The model is sold via Maruti Suzuki's Arena retail chain and can also be booked from the brand's website.

How the offers translate to sales will become only clear at the end of June, the first full month of sales for India’s carmakers since February 2020.
