
The Porsche Cayenne Electric slots above the Macan Electric in the German luxury carmaker's line-up.

The Cayenne Electric measures 4,985mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,674mm tall; its wheelbase length is 3,023mm.

It gets gloss-black cladding, panoramic sunroof, and wheel choices range between 20 and 22 inches.

The rear gets a full-width LED light bar with lit-up Porsche lettering and a redesigned bumper.

The big change inside is a new 14.5-inch curved touchscreen, the first time Porsche has offered this in India; a 14.9-inch passenger screen and an AR heads-up display are optional extras.

8-way powered front seats, 4-zone AC, front seat ventilation and a wireless charger and a 14-speaker Bose audio system are some of the Porsche Cayenne Electric features.

Porsche Cayenne Electric price in India starts at Rs 1.76 crore, ex-showroom, before options, while the Turbo trim begins at Rs 2.26 crore. Both Porsche models use a 113kWh battery pack and get a dual-motor setup, enabling all-wheel drive. The more powerful Porsche Cayenne Electric Turbo produces 1,156hp and 1,150Nm, and does the 0-100 kph sprint in 2.5 seconds, maxing out at 260kph. Whereas, the standard trim makes 408hp and 835Nm and takes 4.8 seconds to hit the 100kph mark, topping out at 230kph.
The Cayenne Electric delivers a claimed 642km range, while the Turbo version offers 623km. It is also the first Porsche EV that can be optioned with an 11kW wireless car charger. Both versions come with adaptive air suspension as standard. Rear axle steering, which turns the back wheels by up to 5 degrees to help it handle better, is provided as an optional fitment.
