
The Recon is the first all-electric Jeep SUV built mainly for off-road use.

Recon’s cabin packs an octagonal steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, an Alpine audio system and more.

The central 14.5-inch touchscreen comes with built-in HVAC controls.

On the floating centre console, a red section houses the terrain mode and the e-diff toggles.

As per Jeep, the Recon offers 1,866 litres of boot space with the rear seats folded, plus an 85-litre frunk.

Jeep has now disclosed the technical specifications of its all-electric Recon SUV, which was revealed in September 2022. Recon's exterior stays the same as it was three years ago, featuring Jeep's signature seven-slot grille, panoramic sunroof, removable four doors, and even the rear quarter glass on both sides and the windshield behind. The Recon is Jeep's first electric vehicle built primarily for off-road use, and joins the Wagoneer S and Avenger EVs in the firm's line-up. The off-roader uses the same STLA Large platform as the Wagoneer S, and runs a 400V 100kWh battery with dual motors enabling 4WD, making 659hp and 841Nm. It does 0-97kph in a claimed 3.6 seconds, and has a range of 402km.
