Porsche has debuted the Cayenne Electric SUV in India months after its official launch earlier this year. The Cayenne Electric is underpinned by the Volkswagen Group’s 800V Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. Irrespective of the variant chosen, you get a 113kWh battery pack with a dual-motor setup (AWD) as standard. In base form, it develops 408hp and 750Nm, (442hp and 835Nm with Launch Control engaged), and Turbo produces 857hp and 1,360Nm (+176hp in Push-to-Pass mode) (1,156hp and 1,500Nm with Launch Control engaged). In Turbo guise with launch control mode, the Cayenne Electric is the most powerful series production Porsche currently. The Cayenne Electric gets a WLTP-certified range of up to 642km and supports DC charging speeds of up to 390 kW. Prices for the Cayenne Electric for the base and Turbo variants begin at Rs 1.77 crore and Rs 2.28 crore, respectively, before optional extras.
