The Macan EV is an all-electric compact luxury SUV from Porsche. The Macan nameplate will continue as an EV as the ICE-powered Macan will be phased out. The Macan EV features a Taycan-inspired design with aero efficiency in mind. The Macan EV is priced from Rs 1.22 crore and Rs 1.69 crore (both ex-showroom).

The Macan EV variants include the Macan RWD, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo. Macan EV is powered by a 100kWh battery pack as standard. The Macan EV range of the RWD, Macan 4S and Macan Turbo is 641km, 606km, and 591km, respectively.

The Porsche Macan EV rivals SUVs like the Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback, Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, and the BMW iX.

Key highlights of the Macan EV

• The Macan RWD produces 360hp and 563Nm of torque, while the 4S produces 616hp and 820Nm of torque, and the Turbo produces 639hp and 1,130Nm of torque.
• In a 0-100kph sprint, the RWD takes 5.7 seconds, the 4S takes 4.1 seconds, and the Turbo takes 3.3 seconds. 
• Interior features a three-screen setup consisting of a standard 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger display.
