The Defender Octa Black Edition is finished in Gloss Narvik Black, with an optional matte protection film.
The grille and Land Rover badge are finished in Gloss Black, with darkened silver 'Defender' lettering above.
Even the diamond-inspired Octa emblem sports an all-black finish.
The front undershield and rear scuff plates get a rugged Satin Black Powder Coat finish with exposed recovery eyes.
20-inch forged wheels are standard, alongside optional Gloss Black 22-inchers with black centre caps and Defender lettering.
The Defender Octa Black Edition gets flush rear lights with smoked lenses.
The Defender's signature Cross Car Beam is finished in Satin Black Powder Coat, with optional chopped carbonfibre interior trim.
Sports seats get Ebony Semi-Aniline Leather with Kvadrat upholstery for the first time in a Defender, along with perforation and new stitching.
The Defender Octa Black Edition gets the 635hp twin-turbo mild hybrid V8 powertrain as the standard model.
Alongside the Black Edition, Land Rover has introduced two new colours for the Defender Octa: Sargasso Blue and Borasco Grey.

Hot off the heels of the Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition, Land Rover has now revealed the Defender Octa Black Edition. Finished in rich Narvik Black - the deepest black colour available for the Defender - the Octa Black Edition features over 30 bespoke darkened exterior elements, including gloss black quad exhausts, satin black underbody components, and a blacked-out grille badge and lettering. The off-roader also gets 20-inch forged alloy wheels as standard, and optional 22-inch gloss black wheels with Shadow Atlas Defender lettering, as well as Sentient Silver brake caliper detailing. Inside, the Defender Octa Black Edition debuts Ebony Semi-Aniline Leather with Kvadrat upholstery, Carpathian Grey accents, and optional Chopped Carbon Fibre trim. Under the hood, the Black Edition is powered shares its 635hp, 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild hybrid V8 powertrain with the standard Defender Octa.
