The unveil confirmed our December 2024 report of the Kia Syros being powered by familiar turbocharged engines – a 120hp, 172Nm, 1.0-litre petrol and a 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre diesel. As for gearbox options, a 6-speed manual is available with both. However, the petrol has a 7-speed dual-clutch auto option from the lower-spec HTK+ trim, while the diesel has a 6-speed torque convertor automatic option from the higher-spec HTX+ trim.
