What battery options does the Ather Rizta have?

The Ather Rizta is available with two battery pack options – 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh. Both trim levels, S and Z, can be had with either battery option, allowing you to choose based on which features you prioritise.

What is the range of the Ather Rizta?

The claimed IDC range is 123km for the 2.9kWh battery variants and 159km for the 3.7kWh pack variants. In real-world riding conditions, we found that the 105km true range figure was accurate from the smaller battery, and you can expect close to 125km from the larger battery pack.

How long does it take to charge the Ather Rizta?

Charging times vary depending on the battery capacity and the charger supplied with each variant. The 2.9kWh variants come with a slower Ather Portable charger that takes 6 hours and 30 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge and 8 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge. The 3.7kWh scooters get a faster Ather Duo charger, which takes 4 hours 30 minutes for a 0-80 percent top-up and 5 hours 45 minutes for 0-100 percent.

What features does the Ather Rizta have?

The Ather Rizta comes in two trim levels, S and Z, with different feature sets. The S variants feature an LCD screen with basic connectivity, while the Z variants get a 7-inch colour TFT display with full touchscreen functionality, Google Maps navigation, WhatsApp message preview, document storage, and Bluetooth connectivity via the Ather app. The Z variants also include Magic Twist regenerative braking, traction control, a dual-tone seat and a pillion backrest.

What is the top speed of the Ather Rizta?

The Ather Rizta has a claimed top speed of 80kph across variants, regardless of battery capacity or trim level. The top speed figure can be achieved in Zip mode, which enables the full performance potential with quicker acceleration versus the Eco mode that prioritises efficiency.

What is the warranty on the Ather Rizta battery?

The Ather Rizta comes with a standard 3-year or 30,000km battery warranty. However, if you opt for the Pro Pack, the warranty extends to 5 years or 60,000km. Ather also offers an Eight70 Warranty as an optional extra for Rs 4,999, which covers the battery for 8 years or 80,000km.

What is the price of the Ather Rizta?

The Ather Rizta line-up starts at Rs 1.15 lakh for the base S 2.9 variant and Rs 1.32 lakh for the Z 2.9. The S 3.7, which has a larger battery pack, will set you back Rs 1.38 lakh, while the top-spec Z 3.7 variant is priced at Rs 1.52 lakh. The add-on AtherStack Pro package, which includes Magic Twist, Google Maps, park assist, and more, costs between Rs 14,000 and Rs 20,000, depending on the variant. 

All prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru, and are inclusive of the PM e-Drive subsidy.
