The Kia Carens range starts at Rs 10.59 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.69 lakh. The MPV chiefly competes with the Maruti Suzuki XL6, Toyota Rumion and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

The pricier Carens variants offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine developing 160hp and 253Nm, mated to either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT.

    Both reportedly coming this year

After nearly three years in the Indian market, the Carens will receive a facelift this year. Production of the facelifted Carens is slated to commence sometime around May. Additionally, Kia is prepping a Carens EV to rival the BYD eMax 7. The all-electric Carens could debut sometime in the first half of the year.
