Hi team, I am planning to buy a new car and the Wagon R CNG is on my mind. Because of travelling for the job and personal work, I am focused on mileage. The Wagon R CNG also fits my budget of ₹6.5 lakh, and I do not wish to spend more, although I can stretch my budget to ₹8 lakh. However, my family does not like the Wagon R CNG and wants me to consider the Fronx or other options. Kindly suggest.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R CNG is a practical choice. However, if your family wants a different car, you can consider the Tata Tiago CNG XT MT. It will cost less than 8 lakhs on road and will still give you the benefit of CNG, and offers more equipment than the Wagon R.
Fronx is not recommended, as in the budget, you will have to pick the base variant. It will not have many of the features which add to the convenience.
Another, more practical option is to explore the second-hand market. This opens up access to a wider range of cars within your budget. With online platforms like Spinny, etc., the pre-owned buying process is now pretty transparent than earlier.
I want to buy a low-budget car for the first time in my life. I am confused between the Tata Tiago XT and the Maruti Swift Dzire VXI. My priority is low maintenance and long life. My average daily run is 20 to 30 km. Please suggest.
Sir, I am planning to buy a new automatic car for my sister. The priorities are budget-friendliness, safety, good mileage, and ease of driving, as she is a new driver. The budget is ₹7 to 7.5 lakh. I am considering the Tata Tiago, but am open to other suggestions. Please advise.
Please suggest a good CNG car with an AMT automatic gearbox within a budget of Rs 15 to 17 lakh, along with reasonable fuel efficiency.
I am currently using a Hyundai Venue (2019) and will be retiring by April. My car usage will be limited after retirement, mainly on weekends and for two long trips in a year. I am planning to buy a CNG car with a budget of around ₹10 lakh. Since I have been driving a manual car for over 15 years, should I continue with a CNG manual or opt for a CNG AMT, considering my age? Please suggest which option would be better.
I am a 60-year-old retired senior citizen. I am looking for a car for long trips of 20-25 days at a time to visit India’s religious, cultural, and historical places with my wife. I plan to drive a maximum of 200-250 km in a day with two to three halts. Please suggest a car that requires less effort to drive, is safe, fuel-efficient, and low in maintenance within a low budget. I am used to driving a two-wheeler, and this will be my first four-wheeler.
We would recommend you look at the Maruti Suzuki Celerio. The Celerio will deliver well on the mileage and maintenance front, and it is also very easy to drive with a compact footprint, light controls and a good view outside. The car also secured a 3-star rating in the GNCAP crash tests, which is just about ok.
If you'd like something better on this front, consider the Tata Tiago, which fares better with a 4-star rating. It offers a slightly better ride quality and stability at speed, but bear in mind the mileage will not be as good as the Maruti Celerio. Also, Tata dealers are not known to be very good with service.
Hi. I’m a first-time car buyer with no driving experience, but I want to buy a CNG automatic car. Please suggest between the Tiago and the Tigor. It should be value for money. My monthly commute will be about 500 km in the city and a weekly highway trip of around 300-500 km.
If you want CNG with AMT, you have a limited choice. Tata Tiago is a better option between the two. While Tata Motors has not updated the product in some time now, there are very few CNG AMTs in the market currently.
If that is your requirement, then the Tata Tiago makes more sense. It offers better cabin space, and it has a usable boot despite the CNG cylinders taking up some luggage room.
The other option you can consider is the Nissan Magnite. It is easier on the pocket and has been updated recently. Maginte too comes with the CNG and AMT combination.
Is the Tata Tiago a good car to own?
Should I buy the Tiago EV or the Tiago automatic CNG? Which is the better option?
I am looking for an automatic petrol car with factory-fitted CNG within a budget of ₹8 lakh. Please suggest suitable options.
The Tata Tiago iCNG AMT in XTA trim is the best CNG car in your budget. There is not much of a performance drop when switching from petrol to CNG mode, and Tata's clever use of two CNG cylinders also means you get some usable boot space too.
