Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Range

The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq is expected to use the same 79kWh battery pack and rear-mounted electric motor as the existing 79kWh BE 6. The Sporteq is expected to produce 286hp and 380Nm and have a claimed MIDC range of 683km.

In our real-world test of the 79kWh BE 6, we recorded 5.55km/kWh in the city and 5.81km/kWh on the highway, with a combined efficiency of 5.68km/kWh. This translated to a real-world range of 439km in the city, 459km on the highway and 449km overall.

The Sporteq is expected to have similar efficiency and range to the 79kWh BE 6 because it uses the same battery and motor. However, the Sporteq's actual real-world figures will be confirmed once we test the car.
